Parking Garage Final Project
The Highland Park High School parking garage is old with many problems. For our final project we redesigned certain floors to make it more efficient and accessible using sketchup education.
This is the front of parking garage which faces the student entrance. We could not get photos of inside since it is closed.
The first floor was redesigned by Yasmin. She added more exits to make the after school rush flow easier.
The second floor was redesigned by Emery. She added a bridge that connects second floor to the second floor of the school. This should be more convenient for students entering and exiting because they can avoid the traffic below. This addition can also be very beneficial on rainy days.
